- Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted – SENG (sengifted.org/) – SENG is an organization that focuses on the social and emotional needs of gifted students.
Reading and Writing
- Quill (quill.org/) – Great website geared towards middle and high school writers that has a number of interactive activities to improve students’ writing.
- Read Write Think (readwritethink.org/classroom-resources/student-interactives/) – Interactive tools for students to work on a variety of goals around writing.
- Story Jumper (storyjumper.com/) – Students can take their writing and create their own book, including illustrations, using Story Jumper.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
- Calculation Nation (calculationnation.nctm.org/) – Site full of interactive math games for elementary and middle school students.
- Bedtime Math (http://bedtimemath.org/bedtime-math-for-families/) – Designed to help make math a fun part of a family’s daily routine, as common and beloved as the bedtime story.

- NASA Quest (quest.arc.nasa.gov) – Great site for students to engage in authentic scientific and engineering processes.
- Code Studio (studio.code.org) – Non-profit that is working to ensure that every student can have an opportunity to learn computer science. The Studio allows students to create their own games, practice basic computer coding, and learn other computer science related skills.
- Love My Science (lovemyscience.com/) – This website is full of interactive science games as well as a huge list of easy at-home science experiments for students to try.
- National Geographic Kids (kids.nationalgeographic.com/) – The student version of the popular magazine and website. Full of wonderful articles, games, and tools for students.
Social Studies
- Newsela (newsela.com/) – News website that is specifically geared towards students. The reading level of the articles can be raised or lowered depending on the students’ reading levels.
- Smithsonian Kids (http://www.si.edu/Kids) – Explore their many online resources, videos, and games.
- Kids.gov (https://kids.usa.gov/) – Great site for kids, teens, teachers, and parents to find safe online resources on topics such as Government, Social Studies, Jobs, and more.

- Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/) – Created by MIT, this site allows students to learn some basic animation and coding to create stories and games.

- State of Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion (getcollegefunds.org/) – Great website for Oregon students who are looking for help with scholarships, grants, and financial aid.

- Domeprep (domeprep.com/sat-act-prep) – Fee-based SAT and ACT prep site that offers online classes and tutoring.
